Yarn sourcing executive should contact sales team for their requirements from their customer, then offer prices, quantities from various vendors by checking quality level and fully negotiating prices along with delivery, validity time, develop new vendors, keeping good relationship with vendors, visiting the vendors , monitor the quality as per agree terms
Role Deliverable:
1. Approve the Vendors based on their infrastructure, quality, manpower, work practice, raw material storage, housekeeping etc.
2. To arrange inspection of goods by quality inspection team. Check and approve the report before despatch of goods take decision whether ordered goods are under norms or agreed terms or as per USTER std.
3. Keep the data of inspection reports, all mills machinery details & quality parameter standards.
4. Add new suppliers & new suppliers visit reports for M.R team.
5. Arranging samples from various vendors and also from new vendors as per the requirement of sales and marketing team
Task & Activities:
1. Getting requirements from Sales and marketing team
2. Contact approved and new vendors for price quote along with terms
3. Offering prices and quantities to sales and marketing team
4. Discuss with marketing team and sales for targeted price, quantities ,sample requirement. Final payment terms
5. Discuss with Vendors/Suppliers for final negotiation and get the final valid quote
6. Discuss with sales and marketing team to get the order done and arrange sales contract from suppliers
7. Arrange samples requirement , sample development , visiting the suppliers
8. Monitor the dispatch dates and arrange inspection from qc team
9. Co-ordinate for payment from suppliers after suppliers get payment from customers
10. Attending quality issue if any quality issue comes after customer raise quality issue
